
Dr Clarise Sornachalam
Dr Clarise Sornachalam has been a Queensland local for over 20 years.
She graduated in medicine from James Cook University in North Queensland and was awarded the university prize for General Practice, recognizing her dedication to the profession. She subsequently completed her hospital residency and General Practice training in Mackay. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Clarise has a special interest in Children’s Health and Preventative Medicine. She also enjoys medical education and has had the opportunity to teach medical students. Outside of work Dr Clarise enjoys music, church and spending time with her family.
